I lied...

I couldn't wait. I worked on her a little more and really wanted to show you how she's coming along! Some of the lines didn't show up very well in the scanning process, some lines are a little harsher than I'd like, but overall I love her. I can't decide whether I want to trace over her in ink or color her and if so, how? Any suggestions?

Droring.

I spent a few hours the other night drawing. I haven't devoted much time to honing in on my sketching skills in quite a while. Probably not since my last art class, freshman year of high school (wow, thinking that was like 7 or 8 years ago really freaks me out). I have seen and been inspired by a lot of little artists on the web lately so I thought to myself, "Stop being uber jealous of these people and learn to do it yourself! GOSH!" So, I'm trying. I started a drawing of a girl which is a humongous undertaking for me because I have never been one to draw human beings realistically, accurately, symmetrically, or recognizably for most of my life. However, she's coming along quite nicely. It takes a lot for me to say that, for I am infamously my harshest critic.

Anyway, this is all just a tease, I suppose. I won't be done with her until I get in the right mood to perfect her all the way. Once I do, you'll be some of the first to know :)
